Meet Noura Kaye Skakri
I have been a licensed and practicing therapist since 1991 (notice the low number on my license?! I’m one of the first 400 licensed practitioners in this state, and still practicing!) I have studied numerous modalities, taking what works effectively and then eclectically blending styles and techniques to provide a unique and custom therapy session for your needs. Needs change day by day - each session will vary depending on what your body needs TODAY.
I offer therapeutic and intuitive massage. As I get to know you & your body through open & honest communication, listening to your objectives I will work intuitively to address the underlying issues to release blockage, relieve pain, and induce relaxation.
A session may include breath work, acupressure, manual manipulation of the tissues, energetic work, sound therapy, assisted stretching, and yoga asana suggestions for your continued care post-session.
This is not a FOO-FOO massage.
Relax, unwind, and let yourself go… Clear your mind, inhale slowly & deeply through your nose. Exhale slowly & deeply through your mouth, pushing out any tension or tightness as you release your breath. Keep your breath slow, controlled, and mindful. Find gratitude. Be compassionate with yourself and others.
Slow down and listen to your body and soul.
Noura (in Arabic & Hebrew) means “Light” or “the Light within”, glow or illumination, bright, shining, full of light. In Punjabi, it means “Divine Light”.
Allow me to help you bring out your light within.
