Reiki (pronounced “ray-kee”) is a form of therapy utilizing the flow of life energy in all living things. The word Reiki is Japanese and translates to “Universal Life Energy (or Life Force)”. A Reiki practitioner uses simple techniques (hands on or off) with the goal of improving the flow of life energy in the recipient. These techniques can affect the receiver on the physical, emotional, and spiritual level as our energetic bodies return to balance. Our physical bodies are affected by and are intimately intertwined with our energetic bodies. Conditions such as stress, pain, immune function, anxiety, and many other physical health conditions affect both physical & energetic bodies.
Reiki practitioners have reported numerous successes in bringing relief to both acute and chronic pain, illnesses, stimulation of the immune system, increasing energy, as well as assisting in releasing trauma and potentially speeding recovery time of surgeries.
Reiki is gentle and safe and has been used in numerous hospitals and wellness centers. It has a very calming effect and can be practiced often. Reiki has no known contraindications and can be used concurrently with any medical protocols.
Some sessions are available via distance (Zoom/Skype/FaceTime)
